Can I personalize my cake?
Absolutely. It is a bespoke service. We can help you personalize the cake according to the size, color, cake flavor, filling, etc. to match your preference or theme.
I don't know what cake size to order. Can you help?
Yes, we can. In order to help you with the correct cake size for your event, we would need you to tell us the number of servings (number of people expected at the event).
How much are your cakes?
As it is a custom cake, we pay attention to detail on each of our cakes as they are adorned with edible elements which are hand crafted over numerous days or even weeks. The price of all our cakes differ as per the design customization you choose and the number of servings. The more detailed the cake is, higher the price it will have.
What is your payment policy?
To reserve a date in our calendar for an order, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit via e-transfer. The deposit will be deducted from the total value of the cake/ cupcakes order. At the time of pick-up or delivery of the order, the balance payment is required upfront in the form of cash or via e-transfer.
How soon do I need to book my cake?
For wedding orders, six to eight months in advance is the normal time to book a slot in our diary.
For any other event, 2 weeks to one month notice in advance is good to confirm any order. But you can always inquire about last minute orders to see if we have any spots free for that week.
Can we have a wedding cake tasting session?
Yes, you can. If you are thinking about inquiring on a wedding order and don't know how to go about it, then don't worry. We offer a tasting session to the lovely Bride and Groom-to-be. The couple needs to fix an appointment with us for the tasting and consultation session which generally lasts up to 45 minutes. It is requested that in order to have the tasting session, one must have a date chosen for the wedding and the have their venue booked. Please contact us for more information.
Do you deliver?
Yes, if you wish to have your custom cake or cupcakes delivered in or around Calgary, it can be done for an extra cost depending on your location. For wedding cakes, if it is more than two tiers then we deliver and assemble on-site. Delivery fees is calculated by distance traveled and usually ranges from $50 - $100 within the Calgary city limits. For delivery in surrounding areas such Banff or Canmore, please contact us for more details.
I don't want my cake delivered. Can I come to pick it up?
Yes, of course. For cakes up to two tiers, clients can come to pick their cake up. It must be noted that once the cake leaves our possession, we are not responsible for any damages occurring during client-transportation. As for 3-D or tiered cakes (more than two tiers), we DO NOT recommend transporting them on your own due to their FRAGILE nature.
Is it okay to put the cake on my car seat while transporting it?
No. DO NOT transport the cake on an angled car seat as it can damage or shift the cake on the side and bending the cake board due to uneven weight distribution. It is MANDATORY that you transport it on a flat surface such as the floor in the front passenger seat or the trunk of the car. Or better yet, bring another person along to hold the cake in their lap while you drive to your destination.
I have dietary restrictions, can you help?
Unfortunately, as of now, we do not offer gluten free or vegan cakes to our customers.
